The We Are One Foundation Events bring joy, inclusion, and community to life through free, sensory-friendly adaptive sports, movie mornings, and gatherings. Designed for autistic, neurodivergent, and disabled participants of all ages, along with their families, caregivers, and support networks, our calendar is always growing with festive seasonal celebrations, movement sessions, arts and crafts, luaus, sensory-friendly film nights, and more. Each experience honors unique abilities in a safe, welcoming space. Check back often to stay up to date with newly added events, and register early to help us plan for accessibility and ensure everyone has a place to belong.
Inclusive Easter Egg Hunt
Special Appearance by Peter Cotton Tail
Hop on over and join the fun at the We Are One Inclusive Easter Egg Hunt, where colorful eggs will be waiting for the picking. The Easter Bunny will also be hopping by to join in the fun.
This free outdoor event is designed for individuals with special needs of all ages, along with their families and caregivers, with siblings under the age of 8 also welcome to participate. Our goal is simple: create a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy the excitement of the hunt in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Eggs will be placed throughout the grass and also along the parking area so participants with mobility devices or accessibility needs can easily take part. Each participant will receive a treat bag, and a few lucky hunters may discover a number inside an egg that can be redeemed for a special prize.
Event Details
• Free event for individuals with special needs of all ages, their families, and caregivers
• Siblings under age 8 welcome to participate
• Outdoor event – dress for the weather,
• Eggs are placed on grass and paved areas for accessibility
• Treat bags for all participants
• Special numbered eggs that can be redeemed for prizes
• Indoor handicapped-accessible bathrooms available inside the firehouseent together. VIP participants must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Childcare will not be provided.
In the event of rain, the event will be cancelled.

Aloha Inclusive Dance Party
We Are One will be hosting a joyful Aloha Inclusive Dance Party at the Eurana Park Pavilion on Sunday, April 26, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This free community event is designed especially for individuals with special needs of all ages, along with their families, caregivers, and support groups. Guests will enjoy tropical music from a live DJ, island-inspired treats, games, dancing, and fun photo moments. Designed to be sensory considerate and welcoming, the event offers a relaxed environment where everyone can participate comfortably and celebrate together.
Registration is required to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees, and each VIP must be accompanied by an adult. Hosted by We Are One, the Aloha Inclusive Dance Party reflects our mission to provide free, inclusive, community-centered events across Northeast Pennsylvania that support connection, joy, and meaningful shared experiences for individuals of all abilities.
